Are you a farmer looking to diversify? Do you have a reasonable amount of farmland available? Do you have redundant farm buildings that could be put to good use?
Green Welly Monster is looking for farms throughout the UK to work with to create family-friendly sustainable eco-village experiences and holidays which will generate a significant additional income for you whilst running alongside your main farming activities.
Our customers:
- The local community who are interested in local produce and have a requirement for some land to grow vegetables, fruit and herbs.
- Visitors from further afield within the UK or from elsewhere, who would like to participate in a unique experience, meet other like-minded individuals, learn new skills and enjoy a greener and more sustainable holiday.
The type of farm we are looking for:
- Any working farm with enough space for a few eco-huts, a toilet block, a kitchen and bbq area and a field for camping
- Farms that have a variety of animals – cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, ducks, horses, etc.
- Farms that have some woodland or ponds
- Farm that have redundant farm buildings
- Farmers that will be actively involved in the project and happy to share their knowledge of farming with others
- Farmers that will aim to be as environmentally friendly and self-sufficient as possible
- Farmers who are committed to the preservation of the environment and wildlife, interested in organic principles and concerned about animal welfare
